Firefox 3 Release Candidate 3 appears on the Official Mozilla FTP site
After Mozilla released Firefox 3 RC2 few days ago, just now when I opened the Firefox FTP site to download RC2 I came across the RC3 of Firefox which comes as a surprise release to me, , as usual first it appears on the FTP site and then in few hours the official beta page will be updated with the release
No official announcement yet but ZDNet has some info about the release that it fixes a bug in MAC OS X system which makes the system to hang, according to ZDNet if you are using windows or Linux you don’t need to update as there are no changes for these operating systems in this release and the RC2 version of the browser will be copied to the RC3 folder for these two remaining OS. it is also mentioned that the browser is ready for the final release and the developers have the fixes ready for the the remaining 17 known issues with the browser

Two Extensions that you won’t need with Firefox 3
Mozilla has a history of integrating extra features in every new release of their browsers that would require separate extensions to run, they did it with FireFox 2 and they now did same with FireFox 3 by adding few features that some popular add-on used to provide to the users, here are those two extensions and the features these extensions provide:
Autocomplete Manager- when you type something in the address bar this extension shows related entries from your bookmarks but now FireFox developers have added this feature by default in FireFox 3
Download Statusbar- this extension automatically hides the download window to the status bar of FireFox and shows the download status in the status bar

Firefox 3 To get one more Release Candidate
For those who were waiting for the final release of FireFox that was going to be released sometime in June have to wait a little more because Mozilla has announced that there will be at least one more release candidate for FireFox before the final release which will fix about a couple dozen bugs including some top crashers, some affecting performance and localization related, one of the most reported bugs in RC1 is that it makes some Linux based computers temporarily unusable.
RC2 is planned to be released on June 6 for FireFox users to test and if no major bugs are discovered then there will be a final release.
