Exciting new feature added to Google search
Google Search keeps on getting better and better and this time the Google team has added a cool feature to Google search which shows suggestions in the drop down box as you type in real time.
To try it out Open Google.com and type few letters and you will see suggestions related to your typed query in the drop down box, if you cant decide the right keywords to search for or if you don’t know the correct spelling of what you are looking for then this comes handy and this also saves you a bit of typing, the suggestions also show the number of results for that specific keyword in the drop down box.
Rapidshare Increases Download Limit For Premium Users
Rapidshare yesterday changed their website design and along with that they also increased the download limit for premium users which earlier was 25 GB per five day and has been now updated to 50 GB per five days which comes as good news for many premium account holders after their account were limited to counter website which used to offer free users to download like premium users giving them direct links to the download created using premium accounts.
In my opinion if they want to limit the accounts then rthey should introduce data based packages instead of the current time based packages which will be much more convenient for the customers as in the current scenario even if one doesn’t downloads from rapidshare his account gets expired in the given time, and when the amount of download is already limited it wont be a problem for the customers, as theoretically in a month account one can only download 50*6=300 GB of data per month so they should offer 300 GB of downloads for the same price as the 1 month account and let users download to their own convenience.

Rapidshare’s new Design
Today when I visited RapidShare I was greeted by a new design, which is way better than the previous design, there are many changes in the new design, the previous header image sucked but now there is no header image instead there is a RapidShare logo in the middle and they have added few new features including one feature using which you can upload multiple files at the same time but the biggest downfall about that feature is that you can’t select files with combined size of more than 100 MB which destroys the whole purpose of this feature as one would rather put the files in an archive and upload it as a single file.
But the problem here is that the old design returns when you log in to your premium account!
Now I hope they change their stupid captcha too!
Stupid Rapidshare Captcha and the life saving Happy Hour
Rapidshare recently updated their captcha code which is the most stupid thing I have ever seen in my life, actually in this captcha code there are more letters than the usual four from which you have to recognize four which have a cat in the background and believe me I have never been able to do that, this new captcha has been implemented to fight all the software that used to read the captcha for the users to automate the downloading procedure and it turns out that this captcha is even hard for the normal humans to read let alone computer scripts
but here comes the life saver i.e RapidShare Happy Hour,seems like RapidShare have introduced happy hour to calm down the frustrated users, Rapidshare Happy Hours are active between 23:00 - 17:00 GMT on Mondays to Fridays and 23:00 - 13:00 GMT on Saturdays and Sundays, and if you cant remember the timings then there is a firefox extension i.e Happy Checker that will notify you when the happy hours are active.
