How to know your IP address and what to do with it
When you connect to Internet you are given an IP address which basically is your Internet address, you can find out your IP address using these sites:
WhatismyIP – just visit the Website and it will show your IP address no more no less
WhatIsmyIPAddress – this also works the same way but it shows your IP and proxy if it detects one
Finding your IP address can be very useful in these scenarios:
1. you want your geek friend to guide you using some remote desktop connection program on some specific software that you just can’t figure out how to use, so you give him the IP address and he puts that IP in his RDC program and connects to you
2. you want to play any multiplayer games and want some other players to join, just create the server on your PC and tell them your IP address so that other players can join
3. you are using some anonymization software and want to know if you are really browsing anonymously
4. just for fun
Firefox 3 Release Candidate 3 appears on the Official Mozilla FTP site
After Mozilla released Firefox 3 RC2 few days ago, just now when I opened the Firefox FTP site to download RC2 I came across the RC3 of Firefox which comes as a surprise release to me, , as usual first it appears on the FTP site and then in few hours the official beta page will be updated with the release
No official announcement yet but ZDNet has some info about the release that it fixes a bug in MAC OS X system which makes the system to hang, according to ZDNet if you are using windows or Linux you don’t need to update as there are no changes for these operating systems in this release and the RC2 version of the browser will be copied to the RC3 folder for these two remaining OS. it is also mentioned that the browser is ready for the final release and the developers have the fixes ready for the the remaining 17 known issues with the browser

Download embedded videos from any site using GRAB (Orbit Downloader Extension)
One of the best download manager, Orbit downloader also has a embedded video downloader that not many people know about, the things I like most about it is that it is light weight , you don’t need to install separate software as it comes integrated with orbit downloader which is a very good download manager in itself, it works with every site that has embedded content not just Youtube and it is not only limited to video you can download music or any embedded content like swf too.
When you install orbit download the installer doesn’t creates any shortcut for grab by default so you have to manually do that, so to do that just go to to the directory where you installed orbit downloader (usually C:\\Program Files\OrbitDownloader) and right click the file Grab.exe and in the “send to” menu click on “shortcut to desktop” that’s it, this will place the shortcut to GRAB on your desktop
Now if you want to download any video just double click the shortcut you just created and open the the site that contains the video, when the video starts loading grab will automatically detect the video file (.flv), to download that video tick the checkbox near that video then click the download button and this will start the download in orbit downloader.
if it doesn’t detects any video make sure your browser is checked in grab’s preferences
Edit: by the way Grab can also be opened from inside orbit. Tools >> GRAB++ (Thanks to musafir
